Document Control Coordinator – Logistics Operations

About the role

Alistair Group is seeking a highly organised Document Control Coordinator to manage critical operational documentation across its logistics network in Africa. The role ensures accurate information flow, supports workshop efficiency and enhances cross‑team communication.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update documents in SmartSheets, Google Sheets, Excel and Fleet Maintenance Pro (FMP).
• Perform daily checks to verify document accuracy and relevance.
• Identify and report gaps or issues in documentation processes.
• Log and track equipment breakdowns and workshop flow, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee compliance and consistency.
• Support the rollout of improved document control procedures and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Clear and confident communication abilities.
• Exposure to maintenance or breakdown management processes.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Friday 07:30‑16:30 and alternate Saturdays 08:00‑12:00.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SmartSheets.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Fleet Maintenance Pro (FMP) – advantageous.
