Geological Client Manager / General Manager

About the role

Fleet Space Technologies is seeking a senior geoscience professional to lead client‑facing exploration programmes in Zambia. You will act as the primary contact for mining and exploration customers, translating their objectives into well‑run Ambient Noise Tomography surveys and ensuring technical results are delivered in a useful format.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for Zambian clients, onboarding them to ExoSphere’s Ambient Noise Tomography and multi‑physics datasets.
• Plan, schedule and govern end‑to‑end survey programmes, coordinating internal geophysics, machine‑learning teams and local contractors.
• Collaborate with client geoscientists to interpret velocity models, provide geological insights and adjust survey designs in real time.
• Maintain client satisfaction metrics, conduct ROI analyses and identify upsell opportunities.
• As the portfolio grows, assume general‑management responsibility for Fleet’s Zambian operations, including strategic leadership, market monitoring and regional partnership development.

Required profile

• Degree in Geology, Geophysics, Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8‑15+ years of relevant experience, including exposure to mining companies and operations.
• Proven project‑management capability (budgeting, risk management, vendor coordination, executive reporting).
• Strong customer‑facing experience, able to bridge technical teams and senior executives.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Zambia and a valid driver’s licence.
