About the role
Join Epiroc’s Graduate Trainee programme in Chingola, Zambia. This structured development opportunity lets recent graduates apply their engineering or mining knowledge to real‑world projects, build professional skills and gain hands‑on experience in a leading mining equipment company.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in a structured graduate development programme with on‑the‑job training, mentorship and formal learning.
- Assist in daily operational, technical or administrative tasks within assigned departments.
- Support project execution by researching, gathering data and preparing reports and presentations.
- Identify efficiencies and aid continuous‑improvement and process‑optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business processes and help meet departmental objectives.
- Follow Epiroc’s safety, health, environmental and quality standards at all times.
- Assist in troubleshooting, analysis and problem‑solving activities under supervision.
- Provide support in customer service or field‑related activities where required.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to personal and professional development.
Required profile
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mining or a related discipline.
- No or limited formal work experience (internships or attachments are a plus).
- Leadership potential demonstrated through academic, extracurricular or community activities.
- Willingness to travel and work in diverse locations, including mine sites.
- Basic technical knowledge relevant to the field (mechanical, electrical or mining).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
