Overhead Lines Installation Supervisor (E&I) – 12‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

The Overhead Lines Installation Supervisor (E&I) will lead the safe and efficient installation of overhead power lines and related structures on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract at our Solwezi site. This on‑site role reports to the Project Delivery Group and ensures electrical contracting projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and sequence activities for overhead line installation.
• Develop schedules, estimate times and allocate resources.
• Manage project documentation, risks, issues and quality control.
• Monitor progress, report status and provide leadership to the project team.
• Strategically influence project decisions and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma or BSc in Electrical Engineering (or GCC Electrical equivalent).
• Relevant electrical engineering certifications; professional registration is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years experience as an electrician with overhead HV/MV/LV power line work.
• Proven experience in electrical contracting and project management.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
