About the role
The Camp Manager will lead all aspects of Liuwa Camp’s operations, ensuring an outstanding guest experience while upholding African Parks’ conservation standards. This senior role combines hospitality leadership, financial oversight, and strict safety compliance in a remote, wildlife‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily camp operations, guest services, and activity coordination.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise all camp staff across housekeeping, kitchen, guiding support, and maintenance.
- Manage budgets, procurement, stock control, and financial reporting.
- Ensure maintenance of facilities, equipment, vehicles, and logistics for supplies and fuel.
- Implement health, safety, and security procedures, including night‑time security escorts.
- Promote eco‑friendly practices and ensure compliance with conservation guidelines.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a safari or remote hospitality operation.
- Strong leadership, accountability, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and cultural awareness.
- Results‑oriented with meticulous attention to detail.
