Continuous Improvement Engineer – Component Rebuild Center

About the role

The CRC Continuous Improvement Engineer will lead the development and implementation of strategies that boost efficiency, reduce costs, and advance technology within the Component Rebuild Center (CRC). Reporting to the Aftermarket Manager, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to evaluate processes, explore salvage techniques, and shape new commercial offerings that meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic decisions on facility development and operational setup, creating project plans with timelines, resources, and milestones.
• Coordinate CRC initiatives with the Group CRC Manager and contribute to the CRC business plan and Operational Excellence Action Plan.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities through salvage methods, component reusability, and optimized sourcing.
• Review subcontractor agreements, pricing, and selection; act as the technical liaison with subcontractors and construction vendors.
• Analyse rebuild costs and historical component usage to propose cost‑effective rebuild strategies and assess non‑traditional repair techniques.
• Lead CRC‑related projects, monitor performance against metrics, and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Oversee CRC infrastructure readiness to meet OEM and regulatory standards.
• Manage client service exchange processes, ensuring timely follow‑up and communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimisation, or industrial engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate cost structures and operational data.
• Excellent project‑management skills and the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
