Country Lead – Wholesale

About the role

The Country Lead – Wholesale will drive sales and revenue growth for Coca‑Cola Beverages Zambia, ensuring execution excellence across the wholesale channel, building strong customer relationships, and leading a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue and sales growth by executing national wholesale strategies and collaborating with customers.
• Ensure compliance with trading terms, contracts and LOS standards to achieve volume growth.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with wholesale customers, fostering mutual business growth.
• Manage credit terms and financial risk while supporting growth through effective credit management.
• Oversee efficient product distribution, aligning demand with supply‑chain capabilities.
• Maintain product quality across wholesale channels by enforcing proper stock management and FIFO principles.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing wholesale team, promoting accountability and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field (post‑graduate qualification advantageous).
• 12+ years of experience in national sales or channel management within the FMCG sector, with a proven record of leading wholesale channels.
• Deep understanding of the wholesale market, customer behavior, market dynamics and competitive landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into actionable national channel plans and achieve revenue targets.
