Depot Financial Manager – Mid‑Level Finance Role

About the role

The Depot Financial Manager is a mid‑level position within the Finance & Accounts Department. You will ensure the financial integrity of the organization through record‑to‑report, analysis, and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports and budgets.
• Record financial transactions accurately and in line with accounting standards.
• Reconcile accounts, review general‑ledger entries and resolve discrepancies.
• Support business units with financial planning, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Assist internal and external audit processes and manage year‑end/month‑end closings.
• Oversee cash handling, banking, and reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate depot finance team and ensure proper stock handling and verification.
• Maintain compliance with accounting principles, taxation rules and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and standards.
• Effective communication, teamwork and staff‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
