Kenneth Kaunda Graduate Immersion Programme – 2026

About the role

The Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC) invites recent Zambian graduates to join the Kenneth Kaunda Graduate Immersion Programme, a two‑week intensive experience running from 14 May to 30 May 2026 in Lusaka. The programme aims to build capacity among young professionals to contribute to civil‑society engagement and African Union development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in workshops and seminars on AU policies, human rights, good governance and gender equality.
• Assist ECOSOCC staff in research, data collection and analysis for ongoing studies.
• Contribute to drafting recommendations and reports for AU organs.
• Engage with civil‑society organisations and diaspora networks to foster partnerships.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (within the last 12 months) from a Zambian university.
• Strong interest in development, public policy, or civil‑society work.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Eligibility to work in Zambia.

Required skills

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
