Contributions and Purchases Officer

About the role

The Contributions and Purchases Officer will support Prudential Pensions Management Zambia’s fund administration operations by accurately processing pension contributions and Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) purchases. The role ensures member and investor records are up‑to‑date, transactions are reconciled, and regulatory and service level requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Load pension contributions within agreed service level agreements and reconcile them monthly with Finance.
• Prepare and distribute monthly contribution, revenue, and CIS reports.
• Verify and upload annual bonus interest to members’ accounts and assist with annual benefit statements.
• Support the Customer Relations Unit with contribution‑related queries and statement interpretation.
• Follow up on contribution arrears and maintain strong relationships with employer representatives.
• Process member registrations, updates, and new investor onboarding in the administration system.
• Investigate and resolve contribution discrepancies, unmatched payments, and allocation queries.
• Ensure all purchases comply with the PIF prospectus and maintain investor records.
• Conduct regular reconciliations with Wealth Solutions and Finance departments and complete daily transaction processing.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in fund administration, pension contributions processing, or investment transaction handling.
• Ability to work accurately under defined service level agreements and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for discrepancy investigation.
