Media Account Executive

About the role

Plan A Advertising is seeking a full‑time Media Account Executive to join its on‑site team in Zambia. You will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal creative, digital, and strategy teams, ensuring media campaigns deliver on brand objectives and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive media plans and oversee media buying and placement across multiple channels.
• Monitor campaign performance, generate regular reports, and present insights to clients.
• Collaborate with creative, digital, and strategy teams to align media execution with brand positioning.
• Support new‑business initiatives by contributing to proposals and pitches.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, managing expectations and delivering exceptional service.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in media planning and buying, preferably within an agency environment.
• Strong account‑management and client‑service skills, including clear stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of the Zambian media landscape and regional market dynamics is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with digital and social media platforms and basic performance‑analytics tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Proven organizational and time‑management capabilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
