About the role
The Mine Tech AI Analyst will support the execution phase of UNDP's timbuktoo Initiative, a Pan‑African effort to mobilise $1 billion for youth‑led entrepreneurship and innovation. The role focuses on establishing institutional arrangements for the Catalytic Pan‑African Innovation Fund, attracting catalytic capital, and helping operationalise the fund’s activities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in setting up the institutional framework for the Catalytic Pan‑African Innovation Fund.
- Support crowd‑in of additional catalytic investments and commercial capital.
- Contribute to the operationalisation of the timbuktoo Initiative across the African region.
- Collaborate with UNDP, UNCDF, UNV and partner organisations to ensure alignment with strategic outcomes.
Required profile
- Open to Tier 1 and Tier 2 UNDP/UNCDF/UNV staff as indicated in the vacancy title.
- Must meet eligibility criteria for the tiered application process.
