Project Team Coordinator – Integrated WASH, Health & Nutrition

About the role

The Project Team Coordinator will lead the ECHO‑funded integrated WASH, Health and Nutrition programme in Mantapala, Zambia. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure high‑quality, timely and compliant delivery while strengthening coordination with government, UN agencies and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for integrated WASH‑Health‑Nutrition interventions and ensure alignment with ECHO priorities and national policies.
• Lead planning, execution, budgeting and procurement for all project activities, maintaining compliance with ACF and donor standards.
• Supervise a multidisciplinary team, conduct performance management and promote a culture of accountability and safeguarding.
• Coordinate with the Ministry of Health, UN agencies and local partners, representing ACF in coordination platforms and strengthening community engagement.
• Oversee a robust MEAL system, ensuring data quality, timely reporting and learning for adaptive programming.
• Ensure technical quality and integration of water systems, sanitation, hygiene promotion, IPC and healthcare waste management.
• Manage financial forecasting, budget oversight and grant compliance in close collaboration with finance and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading integrated WASH, health and nutrition projects in humanitarian settings.
• Strong knowledge of ECHO guidelines, national policies and sector‑specific standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work with ministries, UN agencies and multi‑sectoral partners.
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) frameworks.
• Commitment to gender equality, protection, safeguarding and accountability principles.
