Sales Specialist – Building Materials

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Sales Specialist to accelerate growth and expand market presence in the building materials sector. The role focuses on engaging customers, executing sales, and delivering seamless service across the Copperbelt Province.

Key responsibilities

• Visit clients to solicit orders and strengthen relationships.
• Report market trends and competitor activities to management.
• Ensure timely follow‑up on payments and returned cheques.
• Support showroom operations and maintain optimal product presentation.
• Research market needs and recommend business strategies.
• Assist in marketing events and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with supply‑chain teams.
• Maintain accurate customer records and deliver high‑level service.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of sales experience, preferably in the building materials industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent customer service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
