Stockroom Controller – 45 hrs/week

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Stockroom Controller to join our @Home store in Lusaka. In this full‑time, 45‑hour per week position you will oversee the receipt, storage and dispatch of merchandise, ensuring a smooth flow from the stockroom to the sales floor. You will play a key part in maintaining product availability, supporting sales targets and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch stock, processing items within defined time frames.
• Maintain optimal stock rotation from back‑room to sales floor.
• Provide regular feedback to management on stock issues and movements.
• Uphold world‑class housekeeping and neatness standards in the stockroom.
• Manage shrinkage in line with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Coordinate closely with sales‑floor staff to replenish merchandise.
• Support the achievement of sales targets by ensuring product availability.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
• Retail experience (essential).
• Customer‑centric attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to give direction to a stockroom team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Hospitality background advantageous.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
