About the role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join BIA Group’s HR team of 50+ professionals, supporting recruitment across more than 15 countries. Based in Kitwe, Zambia, you will lead the full recruitment cycle for local and regional positions while collaborating with the Group Recruitment & Mobility Manager in Mauritius.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for permanent and temporary roles in Zambia and, when needed, other West and Central African markets.
- Maintain candidate data in SAP SuccessFactors and ensure accurate ATS utilisation.
- Conduct pre‑requirement meetings with hiring managers, create and post job adverts, and screen applications.
- Coordinate and lead HR interviews, compile interview reports, and follow up on business interviews.
- Negotiate salary packages, oversee onboarding, and support recruitment projects at the Group level.
- Develop and maintain a talent pool, and manage relationships with recruitment agencies.
- Participate in employer‑branding events such as job fairs and professional gatherings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of recruitment experience on an international scale, preferably in mining or construction.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and align with both local and functional reporting lines.
