About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to sell and promote Syngenta vegetable seeds across the Copperbelt and North Western regions. You will manage key agro‑distributors, drive demand through field trials and support our sales network.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell and promote Syngenta vegetable seeds to existing customers and prospective accounts such as young plant raisers.
  • Manage key agro‑distributors, taking orders, coordinating deliveries and payments.
  • Generate demand by running demo trials, participating in field days and executing marketing campaign plans.
  • Share monthly demand forecasts with the Operations team.
  • Conduct screening trials in EZ capture to support new product introductions and provide feedback to product development.
  • Support promoters and merchandisers in their daily activities.
  • Deliver sales training to agro dealers, stockists and agents.
  • Ensure customer service follows Syngenta policies using Salesforce.com.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports and attend S&OP meetings.

Required profile

  • BSc degree in an agricultural‑related field.
  • Member of AIZZAQA certified qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the agro‑industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to work in a matrix organisation.
