Accountant – 2 Openings

About the role

We are looking for two qualified accountants to join a leading private group’s finance team. The successful candidates will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, budget management and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. This role supports strategic decision‑making through detailed analysis and audit liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and present financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and financial planning activities.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform reconciliations, financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Support internal and external audits and act as the main liaison with auditors.

Required profile

• Full qualification from the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA Zambia, ACCA or CIMA) and ZICA Licentiate membership.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
