Area Operations Manager – Hunting Concession

About the role

We are looking for an experienced management couple to lead operations across two remote camps within a premier hunting concession in Zambia. The role combines conservation stewardship with high‑end guest services in a challenging wilderness environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day concession activities, ensuring compliance with wildlife management and anti‑poaching policies.
• Coordinate logistics, staff performance, hospitality, catering, maintenance and supply‑chain functions for both camps.
• Plan and supervise hunting expeditions and safari activities with a focus on safety and professionalism.
• Engage with local communities, government agencies and conservation partners to promote sustainable hunting practices.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting and operational costs while adhering to concession agreements and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in lodge or camp management, preferably within hunting or safari operations.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Solid understanding of wildlife conservation, sustainable hunting and eco‑tourism.
• Financial and administrative competence.
• Ability to thrive in remote, demanding environments.
