Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Industrial Minerals Producer

About the role

The company is a well‑established industrial minerals producer serving mining, energy, construction and industrial sectors across Southern Africa. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will shape financial strategy, drive commercial leadership and ensure operational excellence across Finance, HR, Procurement and Administration.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to develop and execute financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and board reporting.
• Oversee treasury, cash‑flow, working‑capital and multi‑currency operations.
• Lead production costing, margin analysis and capital‑expenditure evaluation.
• Ensure robust financial controls, ERP utilisation and compliance with tax, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Manage risk, governance and cross‑border trade compliance.
• Provide leadership for Finance, Human Resources, Procurement and Administration functions.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, CA(SA) or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Background in mining, manufacturing, heavy industry or other asset‑intensive environments.
• Proven experience overseeing Finance together with HR, Procurement and Administration.
