Production Data and Analytics Lead

About the role

The Production Data and Analytics Lead will ensure the reliability and availability of all data and analytics (D&A) production reports, manage the D&A Data Clerks team in Siavonga, and drive projects that increase data visibility for operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality and uptime of existing D&A production reports.
• Manage workflow and performance of the D&A Data Clerks.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects to build data visibility and systems for production operations.
• Conduct in‑depth statistical analysis using Excel, SQL and other tools.
• Review monthly analyses produced by the D&A team and provide constructive feedback.
• Plan, execute and deliver short‑ and long‑term data and analytics projects.
• Introduce innovative problem‑solving approaches and adopt new data tools.
• Manage external developer teams to build software solutions that meet standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in database management, data analysis or analytics.
• Experience conducting employee performance reviews and providing feedback.
• Proven track record using analytics techniques to support business growth.
• Familiarity with econometric analysis methods.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power Platform – Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint.
• Programming and querying – Python, SQL.
• Statistical programming – SAS, R.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of databases.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity and insight.
