Sales Representative

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to promote and sell their range of products and services while maintaining strong customer relationships. The role involves generating new business, managing existing accounts, and ensuring accurate sales administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Present product offerings, highlighting benefits and value propositions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies and meet targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing customers as the primary point of contact.
• Provide timely customer service, resolve issues and conduct regular account reviews.
• Identify upselling opportunities and develop account plans to drive revenue growth.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the CRM system and prepare sales reports, forecasts and analyses.
• Assist in creating sales and marketing materials such as presentations and brochures.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Results‑driven with a record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, fast‑paced team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Strong command of the MS Office Suite.
