Sales Specialist – Heavy Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Specialist to join Zoomlion’s Heavy Equipment division in Zambia. You will promote a range of agriculture, construction and mining machinery, acting as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets, pipeline and collection goals.
• Prospect, qualify and generate leads for various product lines.
• Contact prospective clients through calls and visits to showcase equipment.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM system.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and customer needs.
• Prepare weekly reports for the line manager.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum Matric/Grade 12; tertiary education is a plus.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in heavy or yellow machinery, mining equipment or related sectors.
• Technical aptitude to understand machinery specifications and applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Own reliable vehicle, laptop and cellphone.
