Sales Representative – FMCG & Consumer Health

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a motivated and results‑driven Sales Representative to support our client within the FMCG and Consumer Health sector in Zambia. The role focuses on driving brand growth across retail and pharmacy channels.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell FMCG and Consumer Health products within assigned territories.
• Visit retail outlets, pharmacies, wholesalers, and key distributors to drive product visibility and sales performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, pharmacists, and purchasing decision‑makers.
• Ensure optimal product availability, merchandising, and branding in‑store.
• Execute promotional activities and support marketing initiatives.
• Monitor competitor activity, gather market insights, and provide actionable feedback.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and prepare accurate performance reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG, Consumer Health, or pharmaceutical sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage territory planning, and meet targets.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned regions in Zambia.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with digital reporting tools.
