About the role
The Admin Controller will support the Store Manager in overseeing stock, cash, and administrative processes for a busy retail location. This full‑time role combines inventory control, customer service, and store safety responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with stock‑take and store administration.
- Monitor and analyse stock movement, extract reports, and present turnover data.
- Implement risk‑management procedures to reduce shrinkage.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with reporting procedures.
- Control cash and transactional activities, ensuring processes are followed.
- Uphold store safety and security protocols.
- Process customer transactions using the POS system.
- Identify customer needs, promote loyalty programs, and enhance the shopping experience.
- Follow visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with the team to meet sales targets and stay updated on fashion trends.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years retail or administrative experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Professional communication and independent work capability.
- Willingness to work shifts and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- POS system operation.
- Computer literacy.
