Bilingual Mandarin-English Translator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mandarin-English translator to facilitate clear communication across our business operations. The role involves interpreting, translating documents, and supporting various teams to ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide verbal interpretation during meetings, site visits, and business engagements.
• Assist with communication between Chinese management, staff, clients, and partners.
• Proofread and edit translated materials for accuracy and clarity.
• Support administrative and operational teams with language-related tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.

Required profile

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Diploma or degree in Translation, Chinese Studies, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a translator or interpreter, preferably in business or technical contexts.
• Strong understanding of cultural and business communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
