Marketing Manager

About the role

Java Foods Limited, a leading Zambian food manufacturer, is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to drive brand growth, market penetration and customer engagement across its product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Plan, execute and evaluate integrated campaigns across digital, social, print, outdoor and traditional channels.
• Drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and consumer engagement initiatives.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support decision‑making.
• Protect and manage the company’s brand identity across all touchpoints.
• Lead, mentor and develop the marketing team to meet departmental goals.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and ROI.
• Oversee digital activities including social media, website management, online advertising, SEO and email marketing.
• Collaborate with sales and other departments on product launches, promotions and growth initiatives.
• Monitor performance, produce regular reports and provide recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field.
• 5–8 years of marketing experience, preferably in FMCG, food manufacturing or consumer goods.
• At least 3 years in a marketing leadership or management role.
• Proven track record in brand management and integrated campaign delivery.
