Secondary English & Civic Education Teacher (Global Perspectives)

About the role

Enko Education is seeking a dynamic and passionate teacher to deliver English, Literature and Civic Education to secondary students while integrating Global Perspectives into the curriculum. The successful candidate will foster critical thinking, global awareness and responsible citizenship in a vibrant, pan‑African school community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality English Language, Literature and Civic Education lessons aligned with local and international standards.
• Facilitate Global Perspectives learning, guiding students through research, cross‑cultural analysis and reflection on contemporary global issues.
• Design engaging, student‑centred lesson plans, assessments and learning resources.
• Monitor, record and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
• Participate actively in co‑curricular activities and contribute to the wider Enko Education community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (majoring in English, Civic Education or a related field) from a recognised university.
• Registered member of the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) with a valid practising licence.
• Proven experience teaching English and Civic Education at secondary level.
• Experience delivering Global Perspectives (e.g., Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives) is strongly preferred.
