About the role
ChildFund is seeking a Senior Manager to lead resource mobilisation and partnership development for its Zambia country office. Based in Lusaka, you will shape and execute the fundraising strategy that underpins the implementation of the organisation’s strategic plan.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive resource mobilisation strategy aligned with the country office’s objectives.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities with foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies, corporate partners and individual donors.
- Lead the preparation of high‑quality grant proposals, concept notes and funding reports.
- Build and manage a high‑performing mobilisation team, fostering collaboration across programmes and senior management.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing donors and cultivate new partnerships.
- Coordinate with the Global Resource Mobilisation Team to ensure alignment with international targets.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in international development, public health, business development, communication or a related field.
- Significant experience in fundraising, donor relations or marketing within the non‑profit sector.
- Proven track record of securing grants from diverse donor types.
- Experience leading teams and managing complex projects.
