Site Surveyor / Land Surveyor

Key responsibilities

• Conduct construction site surveying, setting‑out, positioning, and elevation control in line with approved drawings and survey plans.
• Perform survey setting‑out for buildings, structures, roads, drainage systems, utilities, foundations and other construction works.
• Operate surveying instruments such as Total Station, RTK/GPS, Auto Level and Theodolite to obtain accurate field measurements.
• Establish and maintain site control points, benchmarks, coordinates, grid lines and reference points.
• Verify coordinates, elevations, alignment, dimensions, verticality and levels throughout construction.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, architectural, MEP and other site teams to provide precise surveying support.
• Prepare and maintain survey records, field notes, measurement data, setting‑out reports and related documentation.
• Process survey data and assist in the preparation of as‑built drawings and survey information.
• Monitor instrument condition, ensure proper calibration, maintenance and storage.
• Report any discrepancies in site measurements to the Survey Manager or Project Engineer and support quantity measurements, completion and final surveys for project handover.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Site Surveyor / Land Surveyor on construction projects.
• Experience with building construction, infrastructure, roads, drainage or civil engineering projects is preferred.
• Ability to work independently on site, meet deadlines and undertake overtime or travel when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating Total Station, RTK/GPS, Auto Level and Theodolite.
• Competence in AutoCAD and basic survey data processing and CAD drawing coordination.
• Strong mathematical and technical aptitude with attention to accuracy and detail.
