Finance Manager - SAP S4HANA & Accounting

About the role

Pinnacle Packaging Systems is seeking a Finance Manager with deep expertise in SAP S4HANA and accounting to lead its general accounts function in Lusaka. The role will oversee financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, month‑end closing, and tax compliance while supporting the company’s greenfield launch in Q4 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Post and record all transactions in SAP S4HANA, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards.
• Manage petty cash, bank payments, and periodic reconciliations.
• Maintain the fixed‑assets register in SAP, tracking acquisitions, disposals and transfers.
• Execute month‑end close activities before the 5th of each month and coordinate with sales and production to ensure all documents are posted.
• Generate analytical reports from SAP to monitor trial‑balance integrity and identify anomalies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports for the Group/Head Office.
• Lead a team of five accounting professionals, driving efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) or Inter‑CA.
• Strong background in financial accounting and management, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG or industrial sectors.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP S4HANA, and involvement in ERP implementation projects.
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment.
