Mech Painter-1

About the role

First Quantum is seeking a Mech Painter to safely execute maintenance and installation work on mechanical equipment, adhering to company standards and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all health, safety, environment, quality, finance and HR policies and legal regulations.
• Assist artisans with daily tasks and carry out housekeeping before, during and after work.
• Maintain tools in safe condition and ensure proper personal protective equipment is worn.
• Read, understand and sign off on standard operating procedures for all tasks.
• Execute instructions from supervisors and perform standby or overtime duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 (high school) certificate.
• At least five years of relevant work experience.
• Behavioural traits: bold, teamwork, initiative, safety‑focused, quality‑oriented.
• Willingness to work shifts, tolerate noise and dust, and attend to standby/overtime requirements.
