Mine Supervisor – Hauling Operations

About the role

The Mine Supervisor – Hauling Operations will lead and coordinate all hauling activities within the assigned mining area. Reporting to the Production Coordinator, you will ensure that material movement, crusher operation and in‑pit stockpiling are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily hauling operations, ensuring compliance with mining legislation, explosives regulations and company safety standards.
• Execute the daily operational plan, meeting performance standards and timeframes.
• Plan and coordinate production, development and maintenance activities on a daily to annual basis.
• Optimize the allocation of personnel, trucks, crushers and other equipment to maximise productivity.
• Maintain discipline, accountability and high‑performance standards across the team.
• Coach, mentor and develop crew members, supporting succession planning.
• Oversee haul‑truck fleets, crushers and in‑pit stockpile activities, ensuring accurate equipment logbooks.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to sustain safe and reliable operations.
• Support the Production Coordinator in achieving safety, production and cost‑control objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising haul‑truck operations in a mining environment.
• Strong knowledge of mining legislation, explosives regulations and safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, enforce discipline and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with a focus on cost‑effective resource utilisation.
• Ability to analyse operational data and implement risk‑based corrective measures.
