About the role
The Site Manager – Kalumbila will lead the delivery of service excellence for Epiroc’s mining equipment at the Kalumbila site in Chingola. You will coordinate customer interactions, manage spare‑parts inventory and ensure equipment performance meets contractual targets.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate daily, weekly and monthly customer meetings to maintain alignment and service quality.
- Manage spare‑parts inventory (VMI) to guarantee optimal equipment performance and operational continuity.
- Oversee planning and coordination of equipment, parts and service activities, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Monitor and report equipment performance against contractual KPIs, providing compliance reporting.
- Conduct root‑cause and failure analyses (RCA, Fault Tree) and propose improvement initiatives.
- Handle communications with product support, repair workshops and customers, delivering accurate warranty support.
- Uphold health, safety and environmental standards through hazard identification, risk assessment and action planning.
Required profile
- Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical or related field.
- 5‑10 years of experience in a mining environment.
- Previous management experience as a Site Manager or equivalent is an advantage.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
