Trainer & Assessor, Process Plant

About the role

The Trainer & Assessor, Process Plant will design, deliver and evaluate training programmes for process‑operations staff. The role focuses on improving employee performance through hands‑on, simulator‑based and e‑learning interventions that support safe and efficient plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop training interventions, curricula and manuals aligned with FQM Trident Standards.
• Create and deliver simulator‑based control‑room scenarios covering start‑up, shutdown, process upsets and emergencies.
• Facilitate induction programmes, skills transfer and competency assessments for new and existing employees.
• Conduct training needs analyses, gather feedback and continuously improve training content.
• Maintain physical and electronic training records, schedule sessions in INX‑InTuition and issue certifications.
• Monitor safety and environmental compliance during training activities and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a mineral processing plant environment.
• Familiarity with crushing, milling, flotation and dewatering equipment.
• Exposure to Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7 control systems.
• Ability to develop instructional materials and conduct both theory and practical assessments.
