Head of Global Transaction Services (GTS)

About the role

Access Bank Zambia is looking for a self‑motivated, enthusiastic and innovative leader to head its Global Transaction Services (GTS) business. Reporting to the Group Head of Corporate Investment Banking, you will shape the bank’s transaction banking strategy and drive growth across cash management, trade finance, payments and liquidity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a 5‑year GTS strategy aligned with corporate objectives and digital innovation.
• Position the bank as a leading transaction banking partner for corporates, SMEs, multinationals and public‑sector clients.
• Lead revenue growth by expanding cash‑management, trade services and payment solutions, meeting annual targets.
• Cross‑sell GTS products across corporate, retail and SME segments and build partnerships with fintechs and correspondent banks.
• Serve as trusted advisor to key corporate and government clients, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Design and launch innovative products such as digital payments, supply‑chain finance and liquidity management tools.
• Establish robust risk and compliance frameworks in line with Bank of Zambia regulations and international standards.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, digital platforms and process optimisation.
• Lead, mentor and develop the GTS team, fostering a culture of performance and client‑centricity.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and innovative professional.
• Proven senior leadership experience in transaction banking or related financial services.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth and managing large corporate client relationships.
• Strong understanding of cash management, trade finance, payments and liquidity solutions.
• Ability to navigate regulatory environments and implement risk controls.
• Experience building partnerships with fintechs, payment processors and correspondent banks.
