Sales Executive – B2B Customer Experience Solutions

About the role

A client of TestHiring is looking for a Sales Executive based in Lusaka, Zambia. The role centres on building relationships with senior decision-makers and business leaders, identifying organisations where customer experience and service management solutions add value, and turning prospects into successful sales.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, business leaders, customer experience managers, operations managers, IT teams and other stakeholders.
• Generate, develop and qualify new business opportunities and manage the sales process from first contact to deal closure.
• Represent the client at industry events, forums, client meetings, exhibitions and networking functions.
• Maintain accurate records of relationships, leads and opportunities in the CRM system and keep the pipeline active.
• Provide market intelligence on competitors, industry trends and customer requirements, and share updates during periodic sales reviews.
• Work with technical teams on handover after deal closure and monitor developments in the Zambian market.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or a related field; professional sales or marketing qualifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in B2B sales, preferably in software, technology, SaaS or similar solutions.
• Proven experience in business development, lead generation, pipeline management and converting prospects into sales.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets and knowledge of the Zambian business market.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM and sales management systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, networking and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical teams, and to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of customer experience, service management or related technology solutions is an advantage.
