Sales Officer – Financial Products

About the role

A full-time Sales Officer position in Lusaka, Zambia, focused on promoting financial products and services to new and existing clients. The role covers sales, administrative and operational tasks within a branch setting.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the company's financial products and services to new and existing clients
• Conduct field visits and take part in marketing campaigns to attract new customers
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
• Support achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Handle customer inquiries and assist with loan applications
• Maintain client records and branch correspondence, and prepare reports and database updates
• Assist with scheduling, correspondence and other clerical duties
• Manage debt and collections, process PMEC and DDACC, and submit mandates to the bank
• Submit monthly CRB reports in line with regulatory standards
• Support direct sales agents in loan processing and disbursement
• Ensure compliance with company policies and coordinate communication between departments and the branch

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing
• Proven experience in a sales, admin or leadership role, preferably in micro-lending or financial services
• Strong understanding of civil servant, private sector and security-based advances
• Valid driver's licence
