Sales Representative – North Western Province & Copperbelt Region

About the role

Yara Fertilizer Zambia Limited is seeking a permanent Sales Representative to promote and sell plant nutrition products to small‑holder farmers, cooperatives and agro‑dealers in the North Western Province and Copperbelt region.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Yara’s fertilizer and crop nutrition products to distributors, agro‑dealers, cooperatives and small‑holder farmers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve sales targets set by the Agronomy & Commercial Sales Manager.
• Coordinate field activities, events, order processing, stock control and reporting.
• Conduct market research, product stewardship and ensure compliance with health, safety, environment and quality (HESQ) principles.

Required profile

• Degree in General Agriculture with at least 2 years of sales and marketing experience.
• Membership of the Agricultural Institute of Zambia (AIZ) preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively across the assigned region.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of Nyanja, Bemba, Lenje or Tonga is an advantage.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP processes.
