Finance & Compliance Manager – Zambia

About the role

The Finance & Compliance Manager will lead finance, compliance and operational functions for eSwitch’s Zambian entities. You will ensure robust financial controls, oversee statutory reporting, and manage day‑to‑day administration to keep the Bank of Zambia payment system operator licence in good standing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial records in line with company policies, accounting standards and Zambian regulations.
• Prepare annual financial statements, payroll taxes, company filings and support clean audit outcomes.
• Coordinate monthly client invoicing, billing, debtors ageing and cost‑plus pricing validation.
• Apply Group transfer pricing policies, support transfer pricing exercises and present financial reports to Finance Committee and Board.
• Generate regular financial reports, analyse budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities and manage cash flow.
• Oversee procurement, supplier onboarding, purchase orders and office administration.
• Support Head of Group Compliance with statutory, regulatory and company secretarial duties, including licence and credential management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance, compliance or operations within a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of Zambian financial regulations, audit processes and statutory reporting.
• Ability to design and implement financial controls and risk‑mitigation measures.
• Excellent analytical skills for budgeting, reporting and cost‑reduction analysis.
