Senior Manager Funding and Liquidity

About the role

This senior position is responsible for driving the bank’s funding and liquidity strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and cost‑effective funding. The role requires strong engagement with senior management and collaboration across treasury, business units, and group divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and embed group policy and philosophy for funding and liquidity management.
• Deliver the bank’s funding strategy and maintain an efficient, risk‑appropriate funding structure.
• Coordinate funding and liquidity activities across the organization.
• Provide advisory and thought‑leadership to Treasury and other management forums.
• Partner with business lines to grow the deposit franchise and support liability product development.
• Produce analytics on funding and liquidity metrics, identify drivers and risks, and recommend portfolio optimisations.
• Lead jurisdictional upstream funding and liquidity issue management.
• Embed best practices within funding and liquidity functions and across the market.
• Manage relationships with group divisions and support human‑capital development in funding and liquidity structures.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in banking funding, liquidity, or treasury functions.
• Ability to engage and influence senior management and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting funding and liquidity data.
• Track record of developing and implementing funding strategies.
