Senior Specialist, Condition Monitoring

About the role

The Senior Specialist, Condition Monitoring will lead a dedicated team to enhance the reliability and availability of process‑plant assets. You will develop and execute a comprehensive condition monitoring and lubrication strategy, ensuring safe and technically sound operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure team compliance with safety procedures, standards and activities.
• Oversee work‑management processes and guarantee execution of all lubrication and condition‑monitoring preventive maintenance tasks.
• Provide resources and technical guidance for safe, accurate work execution.
• Implement and maintain a database of condition‑monitoring inspections, alerts and reports.
• Communicate alerts and actions effectively with other sections.
• Lead, mentor and develop subordinates, handling performance, conflict and crisis management.
• Establish succession plans and ensure right‑person‑job fit.
• Support root‑cause analysis (RCA) investigations and contribute to incident reviews.
• Evaluate and recommend new monitoring and lubrication technologies and methodologies.

Required profile

• Certification in predictive‑maintenance techniques (Vibration Analysis Level II, NDT Level II). Additional certifications in oil analysis, thermography or ultrasonic are a plus.
• Ability to prepare basic training material on condition‑monitoring techniques.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project.
• Strong record‑keeping, written English communication and self‑driven attitude.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple requests timely.
