About the role
This Learner position offers a hands‑on opportunity to develop professional competencies, gain industry knowledge and support day‑to‑day departmental activities in a mining environment.
Key responsibilities
- Learn overall business operations and departmental functions.
- Assist with daily tasks, projects, data collection, analysis and report preparation.
- Support inspections, audits, site visits and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, toolbox talks and safety initiatives.
- Provide suggestions for process improvements and become proficient in company systems.
Required profile
- Full Grade 12 certificate; pursuing or holding a relevant diploma/degree.
- 0‑1 years of relevant experience, internship or volunteer work.
- Adaptability, problem‑solving, attention to detail and strong teamwork.
- Commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office applications.
- Data collection and basic analytical skills.
- Basic report writing and documentation.
