About the role
The Senior Condition Monitoring Analyst leads a team of analysts to ensure reliable operation of fixed plant equipment through comprehensive condition monitoring. This role focuses on predictive maintenance techniques to anticipate failures and optimise resource use.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise condition monitoring activities (vibration, temperature, pressure, oil levels, NDT) and ensure data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain procedures, standards and an asset health framework for the processing plant.
- Analyse trends, identify optimisation initiatives and provide actionable reports to execution teams.
- Manage external contractors, procure tools, and ensure calibration of monitoring hardware.
- Coach and train analysts, identify skill gaps and deliver on‑the‑job training.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of condition monitoring experience in the mining industry.
- Experience with fixed plant facilities, RCM/FMEA/MTA methodologies and contamination control.
- Grade 12 certificate and at least a diploma in mechanical, electrical or mining disciplines.
Required skills
- Vibration analysis (Level II or higher), NDT Level II, oil analysis, thermography, ultrasonic certification.
- Proficiency with ERP/CMMS, SCADA, OSIsoft PI and general database tools.
- Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project.
