Senior Manager Funding and Liquidity

About the role

The Senior Manager Funding and Liquidity will lead the bank’s liquidity management in line with the group’s framework and regulatory requirements. The role ensures funding costs stay within acceptable ranges while providing strategic advisory to senior management and treasury functions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and embed group policy and philosophy around funding and liquidity management.
• Develop and execute the bank’s funding strategy and efficient, risk‑appropriate funding structure.
• Coordinate funding and liquidity activities across the bank and provide critical analytics on metrics, drivers, trends, and risks.
• Offer advisory capacity and thought leadership to Treasury and other management forums.
• Partner with business units to grow the deposit franchise through liability product development and coordination.
• Lead jurisdictional upstream funding and liquidity issue management support.
• Embed best practices within funding and liquidity functions across the market.
• Provide advisory support on human‑capital development for funding and liquidity structures.
• Manage relationships with group divisions within divisional management forums.

Required profile

• Proven ability to engage with senior management and influence strategic decisions.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting funding and liquidity metrics.
• Leadership experience in driving policy adoption and best‑practice implementation.
• Excellent advisory and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience managing relationships across multiple business divisions.
