Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Finance Leadership

About the role

Marsh is looking for a senior finance leader to join its Finance department in Lusaka. The Chief Financial Officer will drive financial strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business growth across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping Oversight
• Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
• Client Fund Segregation & Treasury Control
• Zambia Taxation & Risk Management
• Business Analysis & Finance‑Business Integration
• Compliance Accountability & Senior Executive Duties

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of people‑management at national level
• At least 5 years of full‑cycle financial accounting experience, with 3+ years as finance lead in insurance brokerage or carrier
• Demonstrated career progression and preferably multinational exposure
• No history of financial misconduct or adverse tax issues; eligible for senior officer due‑diligence in Zambia
